The Adversary 

To oppose. It is a force of nature. The current of the Adversary is perhaps a more effective way of thinking in regards to the Left Hand Path and Black Magic. To say I am one of the bad guys , is childishly simple . Much like children think in absolutes. If someone ever says to you… you always do this. 

Their adult mind is no longer in the driver’s seat. No one always does anything. A child can not think with nuance and gray area. They need absolutes to define the world around them in order to feel safe. Much like Christians need good and evil, so they feel secure in their self righteousness. I am here to tell you good and evil are just constructs of humans in order to elevate themselves over another. 

You throw out this and replace it with something such as effective or ineffective, you now control your destiny. You are not judged by concepts that are made of fairy tales. Unlike say the Church of Satan, I am going to leave room for the supernatural. Anton Lavey himself was very curious about it , and on the cusp of seeing it was just science with limited resources expended to truly study it the way we have space travel or quantum physics, But who is to say it is not one and the same as quantum science? 

Perhaps demons and devils do exist. Chances are they are beings o0f sentient energy, like organic AI. Or even beings like aliens who are interdimensional , but unlike their counterparts who are trying to elevate mankind, they have decided mankind needs to be done away. The next question you might ask is why would we sacrifice ourselves to be aligned with the destruction of mankind? 

The first question here is who is going to live forever ?  What would be gained by doing so, hell the concept of living to be a feeble elderly person should repulse proper Satanists who believe might is right. Here is where both the concepts of the Adversary and Satan as defined by the original Abrahamic understanding of the role comes into play. Who is going to takes stand and say this world is an utter mockery of everything it should stand for and needs to be put out of it’s misery? 

If your religion promotes values similar to a stupid hippie who spouts tidings of peace and love , then you are going to want to save the world. You are going to want to save everything, trees, whales, black lives and all other manner of things that run there course in the natural flow of the universe. If that was not the case whales would be gods unto themselves, trees never burn in a forest fire or get uprooted in a hurricane and blacks would not shoot each other over sneakers. But the universe operates in a flow of it’s own accord.

Magic throws fuel in the fire through focused intent, which in turn taps into something deeper. Vibrations would be the most scientific answer. This adds up for me since most rituals incorporate some stimuli such as sound or smell, that causes a ripple in the frequency of vibrations. Why else do churches play music at the beginning of their services? Music is a powerful tool to shift the vibrational frequency since that is how sound travels. Ritual is important for this reason and until it shifts vibrational frequency it is all just pageantry. 

There are those who claim to do magic empathically and just do whatever feels right at the time. These people are idiots, just because you bought a truck load of lumber, does not mean you can dump it out into a field and have a house. Without a framework and labor invested you just have lumber in a field. There are components of this framework , I am only going to hint at , because it is your job to do the work and find answers for yourself. There are no magical co-dependents, only people who are effective at it and fools who are not .Going back to the concept of bringing an end to this world, even if it is to just assure that all the idiots of the world get what is coming to them then it is worth it. 

What gives us the right to be judge , jury and executioner? My dear Satan means accuser. To Channel that energy is to judge the weak, black magic sets the rest in motion .Some great black magicians have been branded as insane for this very concept in different words. It might seem that way if you are a person who values live , laugh , and love, but those in those states presented virtues are wisps of smoke against a tornado , after all in this eon everything mankind is about to receive they planted the seed for long ago.
